Doctor could not get my iud out

I went to the doctor yesterday to get my mirena out because I have cramps all of the time. My doctor could not get it out. On Tuesday they are going to do a local antistatic on my cervix to open it and get it out. I have had it for two years. Has this happened to anyone else. My doctor said that in the pass 10 years of him putting in the Mirena, this is only the second time it has happened to him.
In 1998 I had a cone biopsy because I had stage 4 cancer and I am wondering if it has anything to do with it. Tweet
