I took the plunge and went ding the completely raw last Spring, and it was the best decision I've made in my life. Huge amounts of energy, and the plus is I dehydrate a lot, so all my produce has the bonus of lasting longer too.
Getting the books and growing some organics is a fabulous start. I can't recommend strongly enough getting a real, live person to start you off at first with some advice. It is so much more helpful than trying to glean it from printed materials. Do you have any friends that have been raw for years successfully Ask them. Or find a nutritionist near you on a health search site. You will thank yourself.
