Is the Korean steak sauce something called bulgoki? We've a chinese restaurant here in our itty-bitty town run by a woman from Korea, and they serve bulgoki beef (I may be spelling that wrong, but that's how she pronounced it). When I asked her what bulgoki is she said it was just Korean marinade. It IS very good, a little like a cross between teriyaki and barbecue sauce, I think, but a little sweeter. I hope to find a good recipe for it so I can make it from home because she's running her restaurant into the ground with bad service. The bulgoki beef was the best item on her menu.
