Re: how long to get a new body?
hi bling!
good to see you posting here again!
your fast will certainly help - on a cellular level, on every level. but you know that already :) you're practically a fasting guru by now ;)
you might want to consider
Iodine supplementation post-fast to replace your armour? i am looking into
Iodine therapy now - since i have done 26-day, 14-day and 36-day-fast-to-completion - and still have some endocrine imbalances (which i think stems from a sluggish liver). i have had too much hair loss to consider another lengthy fast. chrisb1 (bless his heart) has suggested that i do 7-days on carrot juice to stimulate my liver - and i am planning on starting this next week. i couldn't cope with losing my hair for the 4th time - i am already doing horrible comb-overs! ;(
anyway, i've read a lot of testimonials recently on the
Iodine forum about people that have been able to come off their thyroid meds completely after judicious iodine supplementation.of course, i don't know for sure, but maybe it's worth a thought? you don't want to get rid of all that horrible medication during your fast to then go back to it. big pharma - pfft! you may not even need it - but it's always good to have a plan!
also, i absolutely was nutrient/mineral/everything deficient prior to fasting (due to malabsorption, not bad diet) and it didn't create any additional issues for me during fasting. i think there is too much unnecessary concern about electrolytes and this kind of stuff now...
and good for you about the coffee! especially as you drink that insidious instant guff! ;)
good luck!
- lulu
p.s. your cruise sounded amazing!
