Re: c reactive protein very high

Dear all,

Thank you for your answers. I just had a colonoscopy which ruled out celiac, crohns, and cancer. All he found was 2 major areas of diverticulosis. My doctor wonders if something can be going on with my small intestines since he could not investigate that area. As soon as I get motivated I will be getting an extensive blood test for things, like lupus, hepatitis, etc., that my doctor ordered.

I do not smoke or drink and have been very good about diet 90 percent of the time. I have been taking flax seed oil, lysine, and now oregano oil plus guduchi. These are all helping a bit I believe. I take no pharmaceutical drugs at all. Red yeast rice I thought was for lowering cholesteral. I have very low cholesterol and blood pressure as well and no weight problem. I will look into red yeast rice. Thanks.

I do alot of other supplements as well plus no white Sugar and rarely white flour or white rice. Just organic whole spelt and brown rice. I am still getting over a nasty case of shingles. It started in September 2006 and I was bedridden with it for a couple of months-close to death for awhile. It is much better now, but is not completely gone. I am feeling nerve pain in my left rib section as I write this. It acted up more the past few weeks. It causes intestinal infections for me when it acts up. My eyes get infections as well during these flareups. Gums get swollen, my left hip swells up just before and during intestinal flareups sometimes showing a large red swollen area on the outside. Actually my hip was red and swollen the past few weeks util a few days ago.

I, also, have a uterus full of fibroid tumours and my uterus is the size of a 5 month pregnant uterus, at least it was the case when I was checked in that area a couple of years ago. It does not seem to have changed yet. Hopefully it will since I may be finally menopausal. My mother had the same problem and after menopause they shrunk down to nothing and gave her no problems anymore. That is my hope for myself.

In 1989 I had to have an emergency surgery because my large intestines got infected and bursted. I had peritinitis(sp?) as well as non cancerous tumours and holes. They took out 2 1/2 feet of my large intestines on the right side and I no longer have an illeoceal valve since that was included in the mess. Anyway after that surgery my health has become much more challenging for years.

Thanks for your helpful answers.

Kindly,

Marcia
