Yes, I've been on Red_Ink's Intermittant Fasting (IF) Plan. So I generally juice fast for 2-3 days and then eat for about a day and then go on another fast 2-3 day fast and repeat over and over. It allows me to work in certain important events and days without feeling like a loser for going off my fast.
Red_Ink really introduced the plan on this board, so you might want to ask her to discuss a bit more or do a search on the board to find her posts.
It seems to work for me, meaning that I've been able to stick with it. My Levis wonder pants (the ones I posted about a few days ago) fit even better now, and I can see a little less back fat and chin swag, so I think it must be slowly working.
On days that I'm eating I generally have a lot of veg, some beans, a little grain and perhaps a wee bit of meat. I've found that I really don't care about eating meat all that much. I much prefer garbonzo beans (go figure). On eating days, I am careful to keep my calorie count below 2,000 calories...and have generally kept things below 1,500.
On fasting days, I keep the juice calories around 500, but truth be told I'm a bit sick of juice right now.
