Re: Amalgams-Chris B
Hi bling,
as Chiron has said, cadmium is better out than in, so the herbs and other mixtures you were taking were of benefit. Cadmium has no constructive purpose to the human body whatsoever. It is extremely toxic even in low concentrations, and will accumulate within the body, causing potential damage if not eliminated.
Hair mineral analysis is such a good way of detecting not only your current mineral status but also toxic metals. Chlorella is reputed to be of equal benefit in ridding the body of most toxic metals as well.
Ascorbate is basically Vitamin C in the non-acidic form as Ascorbic Acid (in the widely used acidic form) can be unsettling to the stomach in high concentrations. Ascorbate can be taken as Sodium Ascorbate or Magnesium Ascorbate or Calcium Ascorbate, but I prefer the Magnesium type as this mineral has known Heart benefits. These types of Ascorbate are usually a little more expensive than plain old Ascorbic Acid.
It sounds as if the Vitamin C you were taking is quite good but I would up the ante and go back to taking a little more.
I also think it is vital to take a high quality daily multi Vit/Min' to compensate for those elements of nutrition missing in our diets, and which do not have the sufficient quantity of nutrients available because of severely depleted soils. Dr Al Sears reported that to receive the same nutrition from one orange grown 40 years ago, you would have to eat 8 oranges today!! Just think about that for a moment or two.
I would personally continue with the 6 to 8 grams of ascorbate for life (as I do) but not of course while fasting.
Everyones BP will vary during the day in response to all kinds of influences such as stress, smoking, coffee, tea, alcohol, exercise and so on, where it will rise significantly, but this does not constitute High Blood Pressure. HBP is only really measured in the resting state, so if this resting BP is high then you will be categorized as having HBP and the nearest GP will try and medicate you into bringing it down. One guess as to which is the best way bar none for reducing HBP permanently and maintaining normal BP? Yep.........Water Fasting according to thirst.
I have a great deal of respect for Dr Joel Fuhrman, after all he was an internee with Dr
Shelton (lucky chap) but herbs DO detox to an extent, and especially chlorella, the green algae, as reported by Dr Ben Kim, a very reputable Doctor who is a member of The International Association of Hygienic Physicians.
