Re: Too much water? Drowning Electrolytes?
I dont know what to tell you. I am not a doctor. But the temperature you mention is the one I had dealt with all my life on daily basis in my part of the world. You sound like a person not used to that high temp. You also describe the signs of a person under a heat shock. In that case, nausea and the other symtom is justified.
2 liters of water every day when you spend the day outdoor in that kind of weather, is not too much..it is about right. So, I do not understand why the doctor told you water was responsible.
The adrenal glands and the suprarrenal regulate our electrolytes. They regulate those in our body. For that reason, we can fast and drink little water or no water at all, and we do not suffer dehydration. The body keeps our electrolytes in perfect balance if we are healthy.
This is my day 6 into fasting, and I have been drinking around 10
oz water a day, when thirsty. Also, you feel cold when you fast. I guess warm or hot weather is the best to fast.
I am sure Chris will answer your question regarding your fear to fast. He has all the answers you may need. If he does not know this, no one knows..only God.
