thanks for your response. its very encouraging to hear from someone with similar issues. i will just set my mind to doing more flushes until it works. i most definitely do not want the surgery.

and i have just come off amtriptyline after 10 years. you have just answered my question of why i have this problem since i am not typical of someone who develops the stones, ie eating a diet of highly processed or fatty foods. although my doctor did suggest that stagnation caused this and i daresay this is also a factor.

thanks so much for your response, i feel a renewed determination to get on top of this.
