Hello MH,
Do you have any recommendations for someone who has had a partial piece of their pancreas removed (due to a cyst) including their duodenal tube by surgery and other parts of the stomach bypassed to minimize the normal digestion process.
My Aunt is 73 and has the above stated surgery not to long ago, however she is losing weight, skin is becoming loose, hair loss, becoming very weak and fragile and she eats all day. My question is can you recommend how she can better/increase what she eats. She is not absorpimg her minerals from food.
We spoke with another MD and he said they might have to put a tube below her shoulder/upper chest area, so she will have to be fed that way and then she can be given liquid mineral supplements which will be directly entering the bloodstream.
Just thought I would ask...thanks..
