10 beneficial juice #1 dandelion

10 beneficial juice #1

dandelion leaves/greens/roots

how much? and why?

it reduces water retention and is a blood cleanser for one

Animal studies show, at very high amounts (2 grams per 2.2 pounds of body weight), that dandelion leaves possess diuretic effects that may be comparable to the prescriiption diuretic furosemide (Lasix®).17 Human clinical trials have not been completed to confirm these results. One poster recommended lasix and said drinking over 4 glasses of water is hazardous. Two poster disagreed. Since water retention is a big problem for someone with kidney disease, this has shown similar effects to lasix in animal studies
