This is a very important question,Why did they wait? They could have killed ten times as many people by not waiting.

Why did they even need to have the planes if they already had the explosives?

The bottom line is there is no logical explanation other than there were no explosives.

If there is another word for a system of government/economics that is halfway between communism and capitalism other than socialism I dont know it. The word socialism is taken by many to mean communism, usually as a pejorative by capitalists propagandists who wish to confuse the issue.

The current American or European systems are Socialist not Communist. The government regulates business but does not run it.
