true story.

Friends of mine went camping at Yosemite, family reunion. FYI, one must make reservations, a year in advance, to camp there. If rain is forecast, too bad. Not like you can change your res to the next week. So the whole damn fam gets there, it's raining. They spend a good 2-3 hours setting up tent city, tarps, covers, etc. complex spider web thingy. Now it's really raining, pouring, in fact. So they decide to go out for dinner, maybe catch a movie(because you can do that at Yosemite, in fact, you can go for pizza, mexican, etc...).

They all get into various cars. take off...tent city collapses.

My doofus friend had tied one of the main lines to the rack on his car....:) hehehe...

Yosemite is the only place I've ever camped where I was awakened by the sound of a garbage truck at 6 am....
