Re: the apricot!
yes, i remember reading he has a tree!..what an incredible blessing! I was picturing Michael might be near someone who has one. Not sure where mouseclick is. I think there is a place in Devon, where they grow. Maybe a public garden?
I wonder, do you know, mouseclick, that the Hunzas, those legendary long-lived souls
used to measure their wealth by the number of Apricot trees they owned? Seven was considered great riches. And they had this glacial water, that was white as milk, for being so mineral-rich.
If you're lucky enough to have a tree, wow. do you eat the pit along with the apricot, after shelling it of course--? that's the source of, i forget its name--oh, laetrile, the anti-cancer substance. i love the pits of plums though peaches are hard to crack. Good to nibble. They are made to go together, i think, just like the apple seeds with the apple. remember how people used to say never eat the apple seeds?
Well, that's a myth. I've eaten them for years.
maybe if you ate *a lot of apples and seeds*. or a lot of seeds by themselves. Eaten together, that's the key. there's some wonderful synergy in that.
