Hi everyone!

Hi there all you beautiful souls. I love reading all your stories.

So let’s see, that’s 109 hours of my first Water Fast now with the 2 previous days on a little melon juice and a considerably reduced and healthier diet the 2 weeks before that. I feel great!

The only real problem I have had is lack of sleep. I usually sleep from 10:30 until 3:30am, 5 hours is usually all I need with all the meditation I do. Though it does occasionally catch up with me.

But during this fast I haven’t been able to get to sleep until around one o’clock, and then I wake up again around 2. I then I can’t wait to get up at 3:30 for meditation.

It’s the same feeling I used to get when I used to do extremely intensive bicycle training. Sometimes I just couldn’t eat afterwards and when I went to bed at night my body and mind were buzzing. This is how I have been feeling.

During the day I feel fine if a little weak the past couple of days.

I thought I read somewhere that the heart muscle takes a well earned rest during fasting. Interestingly my resting pulse has been up by 5 or 8 bpm.

And when I got on my indoor cycling trainer yesterday and did a really gentle 15-minute spin, my heart rate went up to 135 bpm. Normally at this easy pace my heart rate would be under 100 bpm.

Not that this is bothering me; just means that the body is doing something. But the poor nights sleep are beginning to affect me. Though I’m not currently working I still have to drive around quite a bit and do some charity work and other stuff.

I don’t seem to have been detoxing much. Tongue and mouth have felt quite fresh throughout. Maybe a little coated on day 2 and 3.

I think maybe I will head Chrisb1’s advice and take a break to build up my mineral reserves, which have been a major concern for me. Soon I will be able to get down to Devon and do some cycling and swimming in the sea and trekking out on the moors whilst I do this. I will also follow his advice and have a hair mineral analysis check done.

Too be honest I am dreading going back to the supermarket, it’s been great not having to bother about eating, it’s been really liberating. And even before this fast I was just sick of eating day in and day out. Mentally I think I could stop eating forever. I am convinced that too much eating makes us all sick and ugly. Though of course, young people should also understand that not eating sufficiently is equally bad.

So I may go and purchase some grapes and juice some of them this evening.

Fasting is definitely the answer for my health problems and so if I do decide to break now, I will soon be back for a longer attempt.

The only thing is, I feel great during the day. You could put my most beautiful meal in front of me now and I wouldn’t be in the least interested.

All my muscles and joints are feeling much better too apart from one stubborn finger, which is still stiff. Though there has been little impact on those bone spurs, but I wouldn’t have expected any in such a short period of time.

Anyway, that’s enough from me.

So you all have a wonderful day and take good care of yourselves.

Loads of sweet and loving feelings from Michael to all you really special souls.
