help with statement of Lugol's
--------------copy from prior post---------
“Becareful of
Iodine in like
Lugols as it stains countertops it also stains the GI track thus not allowing commensals to take hold in the GI system... The Commensals make up your immune system and about 90 percent of all cells in your body...So in the long run you will be destroying your body for short term gain.”

Please give medical source as to Iugol’s so that I can research/examine myself. I’ve looked up ‘commensal & iodine’ (below is definition of “commensal“)…can’t see or find your statement’s facts from word/s search regarding Lugol's.
I’ve listened to interviews and read many books by MD’s that prescribe iodine…what medical doctor/s are you referring too?
As to something staining a countertop --as a method for NOT allowing commensals--…what about beets, carrots, blueberry, blood, black beans, tea…etc?

Definition of Commensal
Commensal: 1. Living in a relationship in which one organism derives food or other benefits from another organism without hurting or helping it. Commensal bacteria are part of the normal flora in the mouth.

I’ve used Lugol‘s…few drops into 8oz water…very little staining with a dilution based on that ratio…and staining of living cells doesn’t last…from my own experience using on my finger/skin. I’m currently using Iodoral,
Iodine tablets, again recommended by Md’s.
