Re: Where are the bees?

I found out in the last few days that a few local "organic" beekeepers have lost "privileges" to wild harvest honeys in a few areas due to the "africanized bee threat".

Commercial bees and honeys have been hit hard enough... this will put wild and organic prices up too as demand rises and supply falls... Not sure how far it goes and whether it goes beyond the SW yet...

If you have a good stash, use it sparingly and wisely, if not, you may want to think about one.

I have an herb and pepper garden in addition to a whole slew of sunflowers, aloe, Agave, Oleander and a few fruit trees... lots of bees and hummingbirds most every morning pay their visits.
