I got a girlfriend with 3 kids that eats a religiously, all organic diet, buys her dairy from a local co-op and drinks only clean, r/o water. Her children (cute little organic buggers) have deteriorating enamel on their teefies.
My other girlfriend swears it's because she's given her kids only r/o water and they have no fluoride. I'm instinctually against fluoride - but hearing these kids that have never had yucky fillers, preservatives or even vaccinations are having trouble with their enamel (already having crowns, no less and they're very small) - made me wanna ask a few questions.
I don't drink tap water - but what would be the reason that organic teenies would be having problem with their teef already? It doesn't make any sense and it's caused our girlfriend that's 'pro tap water' and pregnant, I might add, to only drink tap water. She's still convinced that a little fluoride is beneficial for your teef.
My favorite COQ10 toothpaste has a little fluoride in it, and I'm actually surprised. If you eat a brilliant diet and drink only good water - what would cause your teeth to begin deteriorating? Is there anything to fluoride being AT ALL beneficial?
