Re: Cat infection advice on herbal treatment?
Hello MH,
GREETINGS
A couple months ago I wrote about my cat she has a cyst on the side of her face as diagnosed by the VET. I took her to two different VETS now with no results against my better judgement. It continues to produce fluid & puss two months later.
THE CAT NEEDS TO EXPEL AND THE CYST LEAKING FLUIDS IS WHAT IT NEEDS TO DO....WORKING WITH THIS AND NOT AGAINST THIS.
When I initially asked you suggested a cyst was the result of stagnant adrenals
TOO FANCY OF WORDS FOR BE TO SAY, IT WOULD BE HARD TO TELL SOMEONE THAT THEY HAVE STAGNANT ADRENALS IF OUT TELLING THEM THEIR ENTIRE BODY IS IN TROUBLE and constipation. She is an older cat and seems to go regularly. Her diet is raw seafood and health food variety dry food.
I had been giving her Oregano oil both internally & externally on the wound for the past two months 3x per week and daily for the past 10 days. She did not have a positive reaction and stopped eating & was hiding with no results to the wound changing. I stopped with the full dose of Oil and have been applying it watered down.
Her unusual behavior (it's apparent she is suffering) and it not healing for over 2 months is starting to concern me. I have been using a cone type collar on and off so she can't make the wound worse thinking maybe it was good for her to open it for draining purposes so somedays it's on some days off & then the wound gets real messy!
CATS ARE DIFFICULT T DEAL WITH BECAUSE OF THEIR SMALL SIZE AND THEIR NATURE OF LIVING ON FRESH KILLED ANIMALS. THEY DO SEEK GRASS WHEN ILL AND DO THEIR OWN THING. THE HOUSE CAT IS JUST VERY HARD TO DEAL WITH.
What else can I give her besides the Oregano Oil? Is it time to return to the VET? I know they will likely prescribe antibiotics which I am totally against and probably want to cut the cyst out of her which is what the last VET wanted to do. I have put in an effort to fight this naturally and it doesn't seem to be working.
Is there anything else I could be doing? This cat means a lot to me and I want her to be well again!
A REAL CAT EATS GRASSHOPPERS/MICE AND ANYTHING SMALL THAT IT CAN KILL AND NO DOUBT THAT IS THE ONLY REAL CURE FOR A CAT. HERBS FOR CIRCULATION SHOULD HELP MOST ANY ANIMAL AND I HAVE HAD GOOD RESULTS WITH CAYENNE, SO I GUESS THE LONGEVITY SPICES WOULD BE MY BEST FORMULA WITH MAYBE THE ADDITION OF TREE BASED IODINE "BOOSTED" IN THE FORMULA TO MAKE IT A ONE SHOT EFFORT HERBAL WISE.
I SUGGEST THAT IF A CAT MAKES IT TO 10 YEARS OLD IT IS LUCKY AND TO 20 YEARS OLD ALMOST A MIRACLE.
