Thanks for answering my post. I asked about a book because someone on another forum said that he lowered his BP with coffee enemas recommended in a book on heart disease. I asked him for title and author of the book, but he has not responded.
I have been on BP medicine for over 30 years, and am trying to cut down or eliminate the medications. So far, I have not been successful. For a while, I thought that I was making progress. I started going to a MD who stopped practicing conventional medicine over 25 years ago, and now practices Nutrional Therapies and Preventive Medicine. He recommended a 4 to 7 day juice fast with coffee enemas twice per day during the fast, lots of supplements, and strict diet. My BP dropped and I cut back on the meds, but then my BP went back up again, and now I am taking more meds than when I started with the MD.
I read your blog. You say that "the effects of this fast last for over a month" when you were describing your 5 day fast. Does that mean that you need to repeat the fast every month or so? Are you able to keep your BP normal without medications?
