Re: p.s.

Hi serafina!
I have done the week on and off of fasting too. This seems to make me lose faster even at a lower weight.
(you metabolism slows after three days of fasting a bit..so I would assume thats why)

- what is the Judd diet? in the blog you say you use it for the days you don't fast
Well I see you read it...:) I am using it for calorie guidelines for all days, theory of healing properties, weightloss

- do you use any enemas (as they are often suggested associated to fast)
Well enemas are a some people say to/ some people say not to thing. The reason being is that it ends digestion in your colon leaving you less hungry, open pathway to let the detox come out, lack of digestion boost body's healing ability. I never used them in my other fasts. I just dealt with feeling crappy for a couple days.LOL
BUT this session I kicked off with three days of Laci Beau dieters tea. Its just a senna tea. I used it to empty myself out as I hadnt detoxed in awhile. I think it was helpful and would reccomend that or whatever you do to kick off with a pre-cleansed colon.

- in case you can't water fast, how much juice do you give yourself?
I go with the 20% intake option of the down day (in calculator on Judd site)
I water my juice down 50/50. Right now my calorie level is 250-300 calories. So thats like 2.5 cups of juice plus 2.5 cups of water. I pre-mix it in a pitcher in the fridge so I dont have to think about it during the day and I can portion it out.If I feel I need more I got up to 500 calories. I read that no-one doesnt lose at that calorie count of 500.
The diet says to stay at 20% for the first two weeks to maximize loss. Then you can increase that amount by following the guidelines for your new weight in the calculator. It changes every 10 pounds you lose so recalculate with your loss accordingly.

- do you eat what you want or do you follow some plan in the upday?
Both. I made a menu that I have on the fridge of my meals I usually eat with the calorie count beside them.
Then I can just kinda pick what I want..Like a resturant! Makes it really easy. And if I have a craving for something due to hormones or just need for chocolate...I look up the cals and figure it out, and put it on the meal list for later reference. I usually keep my breakfast and lunch intake the same for ease and I dont really care about what I eat for those two meals.I like to rotate my dinners as its my favorite meal of the day and food type.
Another nice thing....If I am really really hungry...And we all know wt loss can do that to you...
I have food that day instead of juice fasting or water fasting. But the beautiful thing is my weight doesnt go bonkers, I dont feel ill, and my stomach seems shrunken enough that I naturally stop at 1500-1700 calories.
Which is a little lower than maintain count for my current weight. But you have to count your cals according to your weight and not overeat on the upday. So basically I eat what I want BUT a reasonable amount of it.
