i can see all that as a possibility. i make my own fermented vegetables and have toyed with the idea of adding some cobalt and some methylglycine in the hopes that the bacteria would take these elements and make methylcobalamin, but i have no idea if it would happen or how to know if it did or didn't.

i will however be adding some vitamin K1 to see if the bacteria can covert that to the 'factor x' which has now been proven to be vitamin K2.
