Any tips on how to change kids eating habits?
My kids are 11, 9, and 6. They are used to eating some good food and some bad food. My son has a habit of avoiding all the food good and then eating only when bad foods are given. Once he went two days without eating anything at all when I tried to make him eat chicken noodle soup. He became so tired that he would fall asleep everytime he sat down. This worried me greatly so I let him eat the bad food.
Since my fast started they have been preparing all the meals, and Dad does all the cleanup. It has worked wonderfully for me! I had planned not the healthiest things for them to cook so they could do it. But, now that they are really good at it I want to give them healthier recipes to follow. They will be losing the
Sugar on their cereal and all the processed snacks they love so much and all white bread and pasta. Is this too big a change to start with?
I am starting to think about what I will eat after the fast. I want to be healthy and I am not pleased that I have allowed my kids to get used to such bad foods. As I cleanse all this ick out of myself it is very difficult to continue putting it in them.
My main concern is that my 6 year old son will again refuse to eat. Any tips to avoid this?
Thanks!
