General tip: How to find the source of quoted articles when no source is quoted
I am posting this because I have seen a couple of posts here recently with quoted text that has not been correctly referenced.
For example, if someone were to condemn
Water Fasting and quote the following:
"There really is no place doing this in a healthy way of life, except for short periods before surgery etc. etc. Most research says
Water Fasting is dangerous, and at the least not good because it causes muscle loss, and even brain damamge in some people."
To see where the article came from, just copy part of a sentence, then paste it into the search box in
http://www.google.com
and put quotes around it (this forces google to search for the exact phrase, not just the words). For example, let's take "Most research says
Water Fasting is dangerous, and at the least not good".
The result you get is one page:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=%22Most+research+says+water+fasting+is...
It is a low carb/ atkins forum at

The point is that you can find a quote on the Internet that backs up just about any opinion, however extreme or ridiculous. So original posters, please help us make a reasoned judgement by quoting your source.
