Thanks for the reply. Yes I guess its not actual fasting. I'm following the 2-week program recommended with the Metagenics product I'm taking (http://www.metagenics.com/products/detail.asp?pid=19). This program suggests slowly phasing out food, then taking nothing but Metagenics for a few days in the middle of the program, then slowly phasing food back in. Its to help heal the gut.
But now that my gut seems to be healing (bloating going down), I'm becoming interested in turning this into a full-on fast. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.
P.S. When I did a 3-day water fast, my leg started hurting real bad on the third day. Any info on why this was happening?
