Re: for getwellsoon

hi getwellsoon,

i did a seven day fast back in april, then i did a 20 day fast starting mid-may, and now i am on day 5 of my third fast. my 20 day fast was only partially to completion... that means i fasted for long enough to feel "true hunger" which meant that i was probably near exhausting my nutrient stores. however, it was not long enough to do the deeper healing i need for my eczema/allergies, which is why i'm fasting again. i had blood tests done about a week ago, which revealed that my nearly three weeks of re-feeding between the 20 day fast and my current fast had replenished all my nutrient stores (except vitamin D for which i'll need to sunbathe and take in supplement form). i credit this replenishing to eating near 100% raw and organic.

fasting itself does not replenish your nutrient stores. you have to do that with healthy re-feeding AFTER your fast.

hope that clears it up for you!

bella lucia
