Re: Day 8 and my sense of smell is so messed up, any suggestions?

my sense of smell also increased when I did my fast, even if I do it for one day...I smell the neighbors smoking outside, or someones shampoo in the morning, yes it really annoyed me also, I actually became very irritated with alot of people when this would happen...but it went back to normal almost immediately. One thing I noticed also, was my little apartment did not smell like any food, and this also bothered me, as it smelled vacant...and empty...maybe food associates company for me? who knows, but that really bothered me was the smell of vacancy...if that makes sense to anyone reading this...so I boiled some water with cinnamon and cloves...and this helped alot...as it drowned out the smell of the neighbors smoke, and the cat litter down the hall, and at the same time it gave me a nice feeling to have that warm aroma...as it felt very cold in my home with out the cooking....

I dont know if that helps at all...but your smell really should go down...I think even my hearing got higher...and I have a mild hearing disability.
