It is good to hear that you are really determined this time around and have the mental resolve to accomplish your goals.
I am sorry that no one got back to you about the rate of weight-loss, but as Loosie has said in this thread, it is about one pound per day, but if you are very overweight you are more likely to lose more weight than that average at the beginning of your fast, as this is the experience of many over-weight people.

A lengthy fast can be, and is for many, the start of a new life, as it not only cleanses and heals, but undergoes a rejuvenation of the body, the mind & the spirit as well.

We are all rooting for you and please feel free to post often for the encouragement and motivation that you may need; this is not a go-it-alone forum. You have friends here............
