Re: post-fast notes
I used to break out really bad when I was younger, and had quite oily skin before I was a teenager. I had a stomach ache every day, and we didn't find out that I had mild lactose intolerance. Since cereal was for breakfast, and it was mild I would just suffer through it. If only I'd known...... I would have never linked milk drinking to my skin condition which I thought was genetic, but when I started drinking raw milk 2 and a 1/2 years ago, my skin cleared considerably. It has not cleared completely though but neither has my diet. I think that genes only play a very very tiny part in diseases. I think that diet plays the first and foremost factor. Nutrition is important though even back to the nutrition your mother got with you. Or further. If several generations of woman are consuming bastardized, toxic foods, the results will surely not be perfectly healthy children. In my own line, I know of at least 4 generations before me that ate horrendously, my grandmas diet, who was born in the early stages of the
Depression the worst. I myself did not start eating properly nutritious foods until I was pregnant with my 2nd. My own children are small, considered underweight, though they have quite hearty appetites. The turn around in my diet is apparent in the fact that my youngest has exceeded the oldest in weight and is not far behind in height - just over an
inch to go. (They are 16 months apart.) He himself is still small compared to toddlers his age. I think that genetics is played up a lot by the medical community - Oh you have a "genetic" issue, you can't ever get rid of it, but let us "help" you by giving you this little pill that you can take until you drop dead from all your toxicity. That is just my belief plasticat, but either way, I do wish you the best of luck, and like Chris and Bella said - If anything WILL help, fasting will. Many blessings. Motherweary
