Re: food obsession

I totally know where you're coming from and part of the reason I started a fast was to break the bad habits and try to reprogram myself a little more. It's a long process, it goes inch by inch...

In my experience, the answer is maybe and it all depends on where your head is at. If you fast with food heavy on the mind, think about it, dream about it, when you break, you may binge... maybe with healthy foods at first but eventually back to old habits.

I'm doing my best fast ever because I'm mentally relaxed about food as well. I'm not dying for something. When I do think about food, I notice how "hunger" goes away and how I can have normal energy and feel good without food, etc. I want to keep the state of mind that I can take it or leave it when it comes to food so I'm noticing that but otherwise not paying much attention to food. Some thoughts... hope this helps. :)
