oh, i know exactly what you are talking about, motherweary. my daughter will be four in september, and i'm always in amazement at how grown up she is becoming. i see mothers with new babies, and i'm a mixture of jealousy and nostalgia... and also a little relief. you're right, all we have is now, and i do love how independent my daughter is getting as she leaves babyhood behind. she is her own little being, and i'm SO proud of her! it's just the two of us, and i love how much of a team we are together.

how long did you breast-feed for? i went for almost two and a half years :) how many other children do you have?
