Re: Mono diet / fruit in season

Hi everyone,
I agree with Fonty here.

A mono-diet of just one type of fruit for short periods of time is beneficial to health, and especially if this is fruit, as it is considered to be a pre-digested food anyway, and therefore less taxing on the digestive energies.
The grape cure for example is a well-known anti-cancer protocol................

A mono-diet would be a good preparation for a water-fast, but personally I would have a variety of fruits, properly combined, where either will help with any colonic issues such as constipation and the "clearing-out" of the digestive tract.

It also depends on the urgency or the need for a fast as in disease where cold-turkey would be the best and only option available.

Mouseclick mentioned that I have said that eating just one type of food would be incomplete nutrition (which it is) and would be fine in the short-term but most definitely not in the long-term, as this will eventually lead to nutritional deficiencies of one kind or another.

Regards

Chrisb1.
