Re: Mono diet / fruit in season
Ohhh, this sounds like progress from your last posts, well done Motherweary. I like those fruits too now, but before fasting I would be craving bacon sandwiches or something, haven't thought of a bacon sandwich for months.
Andrew, if this mono diet works, maybe I should try my apricots when they start falling in the weeks ahead. But I was under the impression from Chris's earlier posts that this would not give a supply of all the nutrients the body needed, and assumes that it would not put you in such a great position for starting the fast.
A mono diet sounds healthy though, and I am sure there are times in the history of mankind where we went for weeks or months with perhaps a limited variety of food, for example people living near blackberries only.
I wonder if we are best geared up to eating locally grown fresh fruit and veg in season, and things like nuts in winter? I bet we are.
I am not sure of the boredom aspect of this though, but there is only one way to find out.
