Re: Are shorter fasts good more frequently for someone who cannot fast long?
Chris....
i'm also feeling the same way as you, Andrew and mother weary! a few weeks ago i was minding my own business, reading a book on veganism, when a very muscly looking young guy approached me and asked what i was reading about. i briefly explained the concepts in the book, and he (of course) found it all a bit amusing and felt the need to tell me all about how a diet like that might be okay for some like me, but for active body-builders like himself, it was absolutely necessary for him to eat meat protein at every meal, plus additional daily protein shakes and supplements. i could tell that he was taking the opportunity to brag about his physique, and perhaps thought he was impressing me, but needless to say, all i could do was picture the putrefaction going on all throughout his innards. like you two were saying, it's hard to see someone in the same way when you know the sad state of disrepair going on inside!
some people believe that opposites attract, but the older i get, the more i realize that it's just an impossibility for me to be attracted to someone if they're not on my same wavelength in terms of my core values and beliefs, spirituality and health being at the very top :)
