Re: the spiritual side of fasting

I find spiritual awakenings everyday. In nature, in my children, in preparing meals for my family, every thing I do connects me to life. I feel most connected to my womanhood, and I honor it, and all woman, sisters, mothers, aunts. We all have it in us to be the most powerful moving forces in this world. We can all connect to that sisterhood/brotherhood to stand up against the rapists of our beautiful earth. On the subject of dreaming...... I would love to do a sleep study on people in various stages in their fast. I too have noticed much more REM activity, and wonder if I am having REM intrusion also because I wake up more in REM, but then maybe I am not having more REM, I am just waking up more in it. Not a day has gone by since I started my fast that I didn't wake up multiple times throughout the night while dreaming. Tweet
