driving while fasting beyond two weeks or so?

I suppose it would be, just so long as you do not overtire and give yourself some frequent breaks along the highway, but it could also depend on your energy levels and strength too, and whether you really feel up to it.

This has to be an individual choice I would think, but these examples of physical exertion and concentration come to mind.................

I will just take a drink of water and then I will run you a race around this hall and see who can endure the longest."
The reporter confidently accepted the challenge and the race began. To the amusement of the audience, who had expected to see the young man easily win, the doctor easily and speedily outran his competitor, who puffed and blowed in his distress."

Long distance driving should be ok but it would depend on how you feel prior to starting the journey. Just make sure you take some water with you and take a break whenever you feel the need.
