Re: Are shorter fasts good more frequently for someone who cannot fast long?
Chris....
Yes, he is a very active person. However, this man grew up on sugared cereals (I have witnessed him dump
Sugar in his corn flakes, put a layer on top, eat a layer off of it, add more sugar, eat that layer off, add another layer of the nasty stuff, then commence to eat the rest of the bowl.) White Breads, deep fried, fast fried, processed meat. He has drunken a pot or more of coffee every day for about 20 years,2 creams, 2 sugars, smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day at one point in his life, for the most of his smoking career 1 pack a day, he is currently down to 5 or 6 cigarettes a day, and I got him to quit smoking for about 4 months 2 years ago. Needless to say, he had to have all of his top teeth removed when he was 24. He is eating a lot healthier now that I am the one preparing meals, has cut down smoking, and even puts less
Sugar and cream in his coffee - something I just recently found out. I think he could use a fast, but your right, it would not be good him getting dizzy. As for the 20 days, if I am already going for 10 days, well, I am already half way there, why not go to completion right? We'll see when I get there how I feel. I did read in Shelton's book after I posted that that weight loss is not a cause for concern, and pretty much that my body will lose what it needs to lose so that I may put on healthier tissue. Thank you so much for the reply and looking up my BMI. I don't even know what it is suppose to be - I do come from a family of small people though, so I never worry about it. Thank you Mouseclick.
