Hi. Thanks for rapid response...Concerning the link between Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) and iodine, the only one I can come up with, after having read a little of this article:

is that MSG, aswell as a host of other "not-so-good" edible stuff, generates free radicals, and the role of Iodine in protecting the body from the harmful effects of e.g. Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) would be it´s iodination of all kinds of lipids, and it´s functioning as an antioxidant, see:
