If you have mercury fillings, if they are removed, often people will conceive right after. However, this is not advised since your body is flushing mercury out of your system and it can be very bad for the baby (could lead to birth defects).

Replacing mercury fillings can be quite rewarding, a medical study has shown that 80% of the people who have them removed feel heathier after they had them removed (within the year). That's substantial. Other people, their entire illness diminished.

Replacing mercury fillings should not be taken lightly however and should be researched very thoroughly compared to other cleanups. If your dentist doesn't know what he's doing (most don't), it can make you very sick for 4-9 months and it can cost you up to $2000 and might even have to be redone.

I thought I'd just mention mercury fillings as a factor in having trouble with conception, if you have them.

Ditto. It's a personal choice but I (also) wouldn't try to conceive until doing a number of cleanups and a "detox program".
