Have not seen any sun-specific stuff, but I would urge them to direct their research in the area of I's effect on lipid metabolism, and how that affects OUR skin's oil.
Tell your bud to read WAP stuff on oils, and also to check out Ray Peat.
Sun damage is caused by diets too high in W-6s.
