Re: What's the answer?????????

Hi again Jon,
Chlorine dioxide is not acidic. Except when used under Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol.
The acid used to activate sodium chlorite is worked out to be totally used up in activation and the chlorine dioxide will take up the pH of the make up water.
Your questions are good, and worth while looking at, below is the amount of ClO2 released with the three main activators. These are indicative of Industry standards,

Activator Method.......CIO2........Chlorous Acid*........Sodium Chlorite*
citric acid .............20%...............70%.................20%
Phosphoric Acid.........40%...............50%.................10%
Hydrochloric Acid.......100%.............Trace...............Trace

*These percentages are estimates and are dependant on many variables.
The percentages selected are for illustration purposes only.

As Miracle-Mineral-Supplement uses 4 times the amount of citric required, you will be producing around 80% free ClO2 and the solution is very acidic as it is taken with a juice.

Orthophosphoric is used as it must be a pharmaceutical grade and approved acid for oral contact.
