Hello sky22,
raw veggies contain their own live enzymes for digestion, as do raw fruits. These foods are "live" foods, and are mostly water, which you are as well.
Dry beans for the most part are indigestible, causing fermentation and putrefaction and are to be avoided, as portrayed by Dr William Esser (Dr of Natural Hygiene), but fresh beans are a good addition to the daily diet. Lentils and fresh beans can be consumed within one week of a fast depending on its length.
