reading between the lines, I think this could have more to do with your relationship with food, which may have an underlying psychological basis, rather than just a wish to lose weight, and reap the benefits of a happier life. This could be something worth delving into further via counseling if you feel this is appropriate for you.
After saying that, and as I see it, there are two possibilities for consideration here in your desire to lose weight..........

#2. You can continue with your fasting goal of two weeks or longer while undertaking the PACE programme, and lose even MORE weight in the shortest time possible, as exercise while fasting is a good combination for that reason, just as long as you do not overdo it. The PACE programme also has other other health benefits apart from weight-loss.
This would be my own preferred course of action if my only goal was to lose weight as quickly as possible.
