Re: How long do affects last for?

Hi bling,
whatever you do: DO NOT use chemical sunscreens whilst you are on on your cruise, they are carcinogenic.
Best sunscreen is clothing, or just keep out of the suns rays until you have produced enough pigment (melanin) to remain in the sunshine for longer periods.
There is an old saying here in the UK (which I am sure you are aware of): "only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun"........How true that is.!!!!

Good to hear you are building up to a nice dose of the suns rays and not burning.

Mercola and other Natural Health Doctors have found that a lot of protection from the sun can be had by eating raw fruits and vegetables which contain high amounts of antioxidants, and which go a long way in preventing skin damage from overly long sun exposure. They also strongly recommend consuming high amounts of fish oils which also offer the same protection.

While you are on your cruise, I shall be cruising on in here to the fasting forum.
Some people have all the luck.
Me jealous??...........you bet.

Regards

Chrisb1.
