Re: How long do affects last for?
Hello bella lucia,
it is complete nonsense to suggest that sunbathing of any kind results in cancer of the skin, or any other form of cancer. However, over-exposure will do just that, and what I actually meant by judicious sunbathing; overdoing ANYTHING will result in health problems: gluttony results in obesity; overexercise results in extreme and damaging fatigue; over-drinking on 10 gallons of water at one sitting will kill you, but does that mean we do not need water? Hardly.

The amount of time needed for sunbathing will vary according to your skin type: the lighter your skin, the more likely you are to burn; but the darker the skin, the more exposure is needed to receive any benefit.
Light skin such as yours will need gradual exposure by building up slowly by 5 minutes of body exposure a day for the first few days to a week, gradually increasing that time by a minute per day to a full 30 minutes.
It is also vitally important to sunbathe only in the late afternoon or the early morning sunshine, and NOT expose yourself to the FULL HEAT of the midday sun which will cause burning, enervation, and the risk of skin-cancer.

The benefits of sunlight will have profound and lasting consequences to your health, and which is the only reliable way of receiving Vitamin D3, which recent research has shown will PREVENT 77% of ALL CANCERS.
Sun block has been shown to cause skin cancer, and deprives the body of the essential light it needs. Ditch your sunscreens; only salesman will convince you of its benefits for the profits of the company they are working for!!!!
Warm regards
Chris
