I found a source of raw dairy in calif. I asked what the price would be for 2 gallons of milk,1/2 gallon of cream and 2 1lb tubs of butter.
With Shipping $97!!!! AAAAHHHH!!!
I live in Az and of course raw dairy is against the law to sell.
but if I were to follow Av's recommendations I 'd be spending hundreds every month just on dairy correct? I'd love to have my 1 year old boy on some raw milk,but damn,Trader Joes has some organic, pasteurized products only,that are a lot cheaper.
Can you really feel the difference with Raw dairy???
My Av books will be here in a couple of weeks. I'm nervous about the raw meat..I read Karl Lorens site alot and he says he sees people eating raw poultry..I could never,ever do that.
I saw a recipe site that says if you sear all sides of the meat and then cut the seared edges off,you will be prtoected from any potential pathogen. This guy states that the pathogens cannot get deep into the meat. It just lives on the outside.Any thoughts?
