question: fasting while working

hey everyone.

i'd love to do a prolonged water fast, ideally from may the 15th until the end of the month, but during that time i do need to work, and there's no way around it.

the good news is that i'll only have to work 4 hours a day, 5 days a week (and in addition, must sometimes walk 20 minutes per day there, then 20 back). the bad news is that my job is fast-paced and at times involves a lot of crouching and moving around, and requires mental alertness. in other words, it can be stressful.

i'm worried that i won't be able to perform as well as i should. the last time i fasted, i experienced lethargy and was unable to do much of anything at a reasonable pace. my personality also seemed to change, because sometimes, i was literally too exhausted to smile or have a conversation, and communication is an important aspect of my job (and important for the health of my social life, obviously. i have a lot of friends on the job).

i have a theory that the lethargy i previously experienced while fasting was actually a result of fasting and being continuously sedentary combined. if that's the case, then the 4 hours of mild exercise could improve that concern.

anyway, i need to ask you more experienced fasters: do you think i'd be able to handle both fasting and working? is it possible? will it be particularly difficult? do any of you have any experience with that?

well im sure there's more i want to mention/ask about, but i'm very sleepy and need to stop here. i'm going to fast and work for at least may the 15th, just as an experiment, and if all goes well i'll continue. thanks for any advice :)
