Is refeeding on a 2 and a half day fast a big deal?

I think I want to end my fast sooner than originally planned. I definitely feel that I have learned about the habitual nature of eating and have definitely gained a butter control over my hunger. It is my third day of fasting and I'm going out with friends. Could I get sick if I eat too much tonight? Should I play it safe and only eat fruit tonight? Will I do harm to myself if I just ate a huge meal after not eating for 2 days? I only ask because I'm going out with friends and it would be nice to eat at least semi normal. Have you had experiences with refeeding on a short fast?

A big reason for my deciding to end it is the social ramifications from fasting. Eating is a big part of social life! A lot of the time hanging out with people revolves around eating. I feel that I would be alienating myself if I couldn't go out to eat with people or went out to eat and didn't eat and had to explain what I was doing. I think one's emotions has a very significant impact on health. There seem to be a lot of people with negative emotions that can't shake an illness no matter how they eat or what they do. So yeah for now perhaps I will try a prolonged fast when my mind is in a better place. Perhaps in the summer too when I can lay out at the beach all day.

TBH I am also a little bit scared of fasting for an extended period in my condition. I already have a lot of hormonal imbalances, and I am not that confident in a long fast just yet. There was a poster here who seemed in a similar situation with adrenal fatuige, male and 20's who seemed to be very much regretting a 15 day water fast. He said something along the lines that he still felt the effects after 2 years. There were also a couple of threads that weren't too encouraging with Water Fasting with adrenal fatigue.

I think I will definitely try another Water Fast soon. I am still very much a believer in it's ability to heal. Maybe I can look at this as prepping myself for a longer one I will do at a later time.

But do you think I will be alright if I go out to dinner with friends after not eating for almost 3 days?
