Thanks for the update and congratulations again. You give everyone else hope! I'm full of joy when someone writes a post like yours.
Red wine contains an amino acid called TYRAMINE. For those of us that think we may have TMAU or do have it, we should stay away from this or try to limit the amount we consume. On the conference call Sunday Camille named some of the foods that contain tyramine.
Wine
Cheese- aged
Highly processed foods
Red meats and aged meats-Pepperoni, Salami
Beans and Peas
Yeast
All Nuts
All Soy
Here are some others I've found
Chocolate,Vinegar-red and balsamic, Sauerkraut, Citrus fruits and Avocados
Somes cheeses that contain little to no amount of tyramine: Processed American sliced cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, cottage cheese and yogurt.
