PPM Test
I decided to do some pool strip testing of various mixes of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . In book 2 it is said that 6 drops activated would be about 1 PPM. I don't know how accurate this test is but their is (total chlorine) and (free chlorine) test squares. Along with 4 other test squares for other than chlorine.
It varies a lot depending on how much water you put in. I put 6 drops of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . 30 drops of lime activator. After 3 minutes with a lid to make it stronger, I put in 1/4 cup of distilled water and it was about 3 to 10 ppm. I added another 1/4 cup of water and it went down some. I added another 1/4 cup of water and it was about 3 ppm.
With one drop of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and doing the same as above I got 1 ppm and with more water it seemed to be just a little weaker but it was hard to tell. So if you believe 1 PPM is the safe dose just use one drop.
I don't think Humble really cared about this as he was doing things to make it stronger like using
citric acid and putting a lid on it while activating. Basically you start with one drop and slowly work your way up until you have a slight problem. As far as I'm concerned the government guidelines error on safety and are usually inaccurate.
Six drops is plenty. If you want to experiment with the higher doses I hope this gives you some idea of what your taking.
